Direct Market Access trading at IG markets

It is now possible to trade directly into the order book of equity exchanges worldwide using IG Market's browser-based PureDeal platform.

PureDMA provides Direct Market Access (DMA) trading through their existing PureDeal platform.

By offering direct access to major equity exchanges, PureDMA lets you:

1. Trade inside the market spread by dealing straight into the order book
2. Enter stock auctions, including those held outside of normal trading hours
3. View market depth and liquidity with transparent Level 2 pricing
4. Compare buying v selling interest for indication of future stock directions

PureDMA combines the speed and simplicity of PureDeal with the increased control of DMA trading. Orders are placed in the market within seconds, and PureDMA automatically ‘works’ your order, providing ‘partial fills’ if the full volume is unavailable.

With PureDMA you can view the exchange order book, helping you to trade at the price and volume you require. Comparing live bid and offer volumes also provides a valuable indicator of future direction for your chosen stock.

How to get PureDMA?

1. Apply for an IG Markets Pure Deal account here
   
2. The option to enable DMA trading is activated when your PureDeal account reaches IG Market's minimum required balance of £1000.
   
3. DMA functionality can then be enabled from within the PureDeal platform. Simply click on My Account, then on Settings, and check your Preferences to activate PureDMA. Once you have done this, you must also update your Data Feeds to begin trading DMA.
